In February 2006, with the purchase of 8400 square meters of land located in Salafchegan Industrial Town, the construction of this unit began and in August 2009, it resulted in obtaining an exploitation license with a production capacity of 6800 tons of lead ingots per year from the Industries and Mines Organization of Qom Province. Initially, the company started its production with rotary Furnaces and marketed products such as soft lead ingots and antimony lead ingots. In the following years, with the addition of the lead refining and alloying unit, products such as pure lead ingots and alloys were added to the company’s other products.

In 2014, according to the instructions of the Environmental Protection Organization and the Basel Convention, the company succeeded in installing and setting up an online monitoring system in its production line. Also in 2018, with the design, construction and commissioning of mechanized systems for battery shredding and desulfurization, it joined the few units in Iran that operate mechanically in the field of recycling used batteries.
